Audi temporarily transfers over 500 employees from Győr to Bratislava VW plant
In early-December, 500 employees of Audi Hungaria will be temporarily transferred to the the group’s Bratislava-based VW plant.
The temporary placement will expire in 2018, the proposed start of serial production for the new Audi Q3.
In a few weeks, the Győr-based Audi Hungaria vehicle plant will return from three to two-shift operation, Mónika Czechmeister, communications director at Audi Hungaria Motor Kft., confirmed to our site.
Of the employees affected by change, 550 will work at the Bratislava VW plant, while the rest will be transferred to the engine shop in Győr, operating at full capacity.
