Audi Hungaria to make 120,000 cars annually
Production at Audi Hungaria will now reach full capacity, which means the Győr-based plant will manufacture 120,000 cars every year.
It was announced recently that the Audi A3 Sedan and Cabriolet, also produced in Győr, had been named 2014 World Car of the Year, which is also a success of Audi Hungaria.
The winners of the 2013 World Car of the Year award were announced in mid-April at the New York Motor Show. The international jury consisted of 69 journalists from 22 countries.

The Audi A3 Sedan and Cabriolet are both made in Győr, Hungary. Mass production of the two models was launched last year, after a new production unit, built with an investment of HUF 270 billion, had been handed over at the Győr-based plant.
Audi Hungaria spokesperson Mónika Czechmeister told Hungarian daily Kisalföld that it is certain that fully capacity will now be reached and 120,000 cars will be produced every year.
