Audi Hungaria manufactures 164,000 cars in 2019 - week 3 2020 edition

Audi Hungária Zrt. reported on a significant increase in its production volumes in 2019. Last year, the company manufactured a total of 1,968,742 power units, 14,441 more than in 2018. Car volumes grew by 64,817 units from the year before to 164,817.

A consortium comprising DS Smith Packaging Hungary Kft., the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and Polifoam Műanyagfeldolgozó Kft. has received a support totalling HUF 552.21 million to develop a new packaging system.

Eligible companies include Hungarian businesses leading the way in technological renewal and pioneering a more economic, cost-effective and sustainable operation.

Railway-related projects co-financed by the European Union have amounted to a total value of more than HUF 1,300 billion since 2010.
