Audi Hungaria launches serial production of e-motors in Győr
The Hungarian automotive industry reached a key milestone on July 24th, when Audi Hungaria officially began the serial production of electric motors in Győr.
Representatives of the plant as well as the Hungarian government launched the production equipment in a joint ceremony.
“With this know-how Győr will become a central manufacturing location of electric drive systems and embody our strategic transformation process, as a result of which we will become a sustainable mobility provider,” Peter Kössler, member of the Audi AG board of directors for production and logistics, said at the launch ceremony.
