Faustmann bids farewell at inauguration of giant logistics base in Győr

The auto maker's new logistics hall will employ 1,000 people after creating 500 new positions. The facility will receive 10,000 different types of parts from all over the world only to distribute them to various production halls at the plant in 4–6 minutes.

It was revealed at the inauguration ceremony that new facility will allow the Győr-based plant to safe up to €2 million in engine production and €1 million in vehicle manufacturing. The brand with four rings built the new logistics hall in Győr in just four months.

The logistics centre was inaugurated by Thomas Faustmann who was plant manager in Győr for over a decade, coordinating the company's development, extending its cooperation with the town and local and national higher education, thus making an increasingly active contribution to the country's economic performance.
