Audi enters new era with Győr plant, plans to add new SUV model in 2019
Audi Hungaria closed the year 2018 with a solid manufacturing output volume. Celebrating its 25th anniversary last year, the company has reached an important milestone: with the serial production of the Audi Q3 SUV and ramp-up of electric power plants manufacturing, the Győr-based plant has entered a new era.
The Győr-based company manufactured 1,954,301 power units and 100,000 vehicles last year.
In addition to their new electric motors, Audi Hungaria made six different petrol and three different diesel engine variants in 2018.
After ramping up the serial production of the Audi Q3, the Győr plant is set to launch production for a new Q model in 2019.
