Audi adds new diesel engine into production portfolio at Győr plant
Audi Hungaria has expanded its engine portfolio: the company has launched the serial production of a newly developed diesel engine that features mild-hybrid technology, significantly reducing emissions compared to previous engine generations.
The new engine is manufactured at a new, 6,000sqm production area.
The 2.0-litre TDI engine stands out with its lightweight construction, featuring an aluminium crankcase instead of the old cast block.
