Arrabona Racing Team from Győr finished in first place and collected the HUF 500,000 grand prize at Techtogether, a student competition held between October 16-18th at trade exhibition Automotive Hungary and attended by 16 teams and nearly 400 student participants.

The team of Szombathelyi Gépészek (Engineers from Szombathely) finished in second place, earning a prize money of HUF 300,000. The final step of the podium was claimed by BME Motorsport, taking home HUF 200,000. Additionally to their second-place finish overall, Szombathelyi Gépészek brought home no fewer than eight special prizes.

At the event, Tóth József, head of engineering firm Hepenix Kft. responsible for business development, spoke to participants about the transformation of engineering activities, innovative tools assisting project-based design and new trends.

One of the events at the student competition is an HR roundtable discussion, where students had the opportunity to ask questions from HR representatives of automotive companies. The final day of the event featured a roundtable meeting on trends in corporate communication and the prevailing direction of development in team marketing.

Bus manufacturer ITK Holding Zrt. has begun its latest investment by laying the foundation stone of its new plant in Debrecen. The investment expands the capacity of the company’s body shop by 3,000 square metres and adds another 2,000 square metres to the plant’s total built-up area.
