Apollo Tyres to join dual educational programme in Hungary
Starting in the 2016, rubber and tyre technician trainees will be able to do their internships at the local tyre plant.
Apollo Tyres has announced to join the dual educational programme to be launched next year by József Attila Vocational Secondary School, part of the Eger Vocational Training Centre.
The company's aim is to add new classes every year and start the academic year with full classes.

Earlier this year, Apollo Tyres signed an agreement with the University of Miskolc to support the higher educational institution's automotive courses with its expertise in tyre manufacturing.
Apollo will provide internship positions at the Gyöngyöshalász plant, while the framework agreement also allows the company to participate in theoretical education and carry out R&D activities at the university.
The new Apollo Tyres plant, built with a HUF 146 billion investment, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017 and will manufacture 5.5 million passenger car and LCV tyres and 675,000 bus and HGV tyres for the European market. The new production unit will create nearly a thousand jobs.
