Apollo to launch production in Hungarian plant in 2017
Planning to manufacture 5.5 million tyres a year, Apollo Tyres will launch production at the new plant in Gyöngyös with a slight delay, in January 2017, Neeraj Kanwar, vice-president for Apollo Tyres, said this week.
Kanwar said 70 percent of the tyres produced at the Hungarian location, set up with a €475 million investment, will be sold on the European market.
