Amphibious MAN bus with Hungarian-built body enters operation in Hamburg
The amphibious tourist bus – fitted with a Hungarian-built body structure – has entered standard operation in the German city, on the river Elbe.
The amphibious bus is one of Hamburg’s most unique vehicles in public transport.
The body of the Hafencity Riverbus was supplied by Hungarian coach builder Swimbus International Kft. a company with extensive experience in amphibious vehicle design thanks to earlier projects such as the floating tourist bus operating on the Danube, in Budapest.
