AHAI holds general meeting to elect presidency members
The Association of Hungarian Automotive Industry (AHAI), an organization with five workgroups addressing the local challenges of the automotive sector, held a general meeting this week to elect new members to its leadership.
In the last general meeting, AHAI elected a number of new presidency members.
Former president István Lepsényi resigned due to his government mandate, while the leading representatives of Mercedes-Benz, Magyar Suzuki and Opel Szentgotthárd left the organization owing to their appointment to foreign operations.
AHAI’s four new presidency members are Attila Bíró of Knorr-Bremse Fékrendszerek Kft., Erhardt Péter of Opel Southeast Europe LLC., Naoyuki Takeuchi of Magyar Suzuki Corporation and Tamás Kovács of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary.
