60 new eco-friendly buses to enter service in suburban public transport

As part of the continued development of community transport in the Budapest metropolitan area, 60 new, modern articulated buses will be purchased with 100 percent funding from the Hungarian government, Balázs Fürjes, Minister of State for the development of Budapest and the metropolitan agglomeration, said at a press conference presenting the new Mercedes-Benz Conecto G buses.
Fürjes (pictured in the middle) added that the government is providing HUF 6 billion in a project to purchase 60 low-floor, air-conditioned, economical articulated buses.
