LuK plans to build additional production halls in Szombathely
Szombathely-based LuK Savaria Kuplunggyártó Kft. will build a new, 3,500sqm production hall in the near future. The new facility will house the manufacture of purpose-built machinery, the tool shop and the production of arc springs, Tibor Szigeti, CEO of LuK Savaria, has announced.
The relocation of activities will also allow further developments at the old hall, such as the expansion of the heat treatment and pressing shops, Mr. Szigeti (pictured) added.
The CEO emphasised: the production of purpose-built machinery is an important strategic area for LuK, and the company has plans to install a new flywheel line and clutch disc line next year.
