Starting production of the 13-metre long Credo buses, fitted with 37 seats and capable of transporting a total of 113 passengers, is the first major step since on June 10 the government finalized the National Bus Manufacturing Strategy, an initiative aimed to reform Hungarian bus production in the years to come.

The announcement was made by national economy minister Mihály Varga at the inauguration of the new Credo plant.

The company has plans to introduce three brand new models (the compact Credo Econell 10, the extended Credo Econell 13 and Credo Econell CiTY) on the market before early-2017.
