Daimler to be involved in bus production in Hungary
ITK Holding Zrt. And EvoBus Hungária Kft. Has signed a declaration of intent on the manufacturing of buses, where the Daimler AG’s subsidiary will supply the undercarriage and ITK will design the vehicle’s superstructure.
The declaration of intent was signed by CEO Mr. Jörg Scmidt and company director Ms. Dóra Uray from EvoBus Hungária and György Kossa, chairman and CEO of ITK Holding Zrt.
After placing the order on the chassis systems manufactured by EvoBus GmbH in Samano, ITK will start developing and producing a new bus family with a €50 million investment in Debrecen, thus contributing to the town's industrial and economic development.
